Show Schedule Fall ’18

Here is a schedule of the potential shows FPRL will be attending this fall.  If you or your kiddo would like to attend, please contact Paige to see which class/classes are suitable for you.

Please note that each show may be suited to different levels of riding.

Nov 4th: New Horizon Stables (Hockley, tx) GHCTA Combined Test, HDS Dressage Show and Jumper Fun Show. Open to lead line level and above. *This show runs most advanced first thing in the morning down to most beginner. So our walk/trot kids should plan on coming out after 12 pm.*

Nov 10-11: Mimosa Ranch Trip (Bellville, tx), possibly an overnight.  Would be potentially open to those students who are eligible for overnight camp: aged 8+, currently at a WTC level.  If you have a WT student who is interested, we encourage you to discuss with us if this trip is appropriate! Open to date ideas.  Please let us know if this would be something your kiddo is interested in.  If we only choose to do a day trip, it will be the 11th and open to all students (w/t) and above.

Nov 16th-18th: Ashley Adams clinic, eventing (sluethwood, chapel hill, tx).  This clinic covers stadium jumping on Saturday and cross country on Sunday, while a small number of dressage privates will be offered on Friday.  This clinic is appropriate for our more advanced students at WTC level with significant jumping experience.

Dec 2nd: December 2, 2018 GHCTA Schooling Horse Trial (Pine Hill, Bellville, tx). This horse trial includes dressage, show jumping, and cross country. Open to walk/trot and above students as combined test (dressage and show jumping only) is also an option. Must be comfortable riding in open spaces and trotting over crossrails.

Dec 15th: (11-2pm) Barn chore day/Christmas party.

Dec 16th: Woodway Equestrian Hunter/Jumper show. There are classes appropriate for WT+ students, those who have some jumping under their belt, as well as advanced students.

If there is interest regarding any of these events/shows, please let us know as quickly as possible so we can get entries submitted and update our calendar. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions!
