Pine Hill Results: 12-2

Early morning coffees, ponies munching on breakfast, seeing your breath steam in the air… These are a few of Horse Show things. With a club pullout time of 8:00am, we were on the road with four horses in the back, headed to the Schooling Horse Trials at Pine Hill (Bellville, TX.) Cups of coffee grabbed on the go as you’re pulling a rig are the best types of coffee.
Show day was beautiful weather! Cold that morning but it warmed up midday and cooled off into a sunny, breezy afternoon: the most perfect kind of show day. With sunny spirits and sunny skies, our students groomed and brushed and tacked and braided hair and cleaned boots and prepared to show.
Camille and Tootsie placed 5th in the Green as Grass (GAG) CT division, which is awesome! Her first time showing in the GAG CT. She and Tootsie were absolute champs, and conquered the stadium jumping with ease. Shelby and Luna placed 4th in GAG, and did an absolute stellar job on the cross country course. Katja placed 2nd with Chip in GAG CT division; congratulations! And Medora and Duke placed 1st in the Open GAG Intro Test A Dressage. Way to go! So proud of all of our students.
A special thank you to Paige Luplow and Amanda Merritt for making this all happen, providing coaching and support, memorizing courses, and pushing our students to do their best.
And cheers to the supportive parents ready with hair-ties and hair-nets and cameras, and to the volunteers with clipboards and radios––none of this would have been possible without you.
